A leading global manufacturing company is urgently seeking a Country Sales Representative. In this job, you must have a strong background and experience in sales and client management.
About the Country Sales Representative Role:
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality customer service and sustainable business results for product ranges to maximise its leadership position and grow market share.
- Be responsible for new business development, for three product segments, (material handling, construction and agriculture) via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing of new customers
- Manage and grow existing customers and to advise the type of support needed to meet annual targets
- Provide account management to customers and be responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports. Provide feedback to appropriate areas of company regarding customer and operational needs, business, opportunities and sales efforts
- Work closely with sales management to ensure business is transacted accurately and within pricing guidelines to the highest ethical and legal standards
- Collect voice of customers; to resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
- Monitor the competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
To succeed in the Country Sales Representative job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
- Degree (may substitute work experience) in business, marketing, sales or related field; minimum of 10 years of experience selling similar and premium tyre products
- Experienced in with contacts with industrial, construction and agricultural OEM is preferred
- Public speaking and strong presentation and leadership skills
- Self-starter and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Detailed; well organised; works well with remote teams
- Excellent computer application (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
