As the Area Sales Manager (Marine), you will be responsible for managing clients from shipping and yard or shipyard/marine industry for this international chemical company (specifically for paints products).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and seek business opportunities with new clients
• Introduce, promote and sell range of segment products in assigned territories
• Provide technical support for customer issues/concerns
• Ensure timely delivery and good customer service to achieve company goals
• Monitor collections to ensure payments are made within agreed terms
• Be responsible for market mapping and expansion in territory
• Maintain good relationships with clients in marine or shipping and yard/shipyard sector

To succeed in this Area Sales Manager (Marine) role, you must have proven success in B2B sales plus a strong network/connection within marine or shipyard industry specifically with the ship owners or key decision makers.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate (preferably in civil engineering or architecture)
• Eight years of solid experience in B2B sales and people-management
• Strong network within marine or shipping and yard/shipyard industry (specifically owners or key decision makers)
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Cebuano (language)
• Independent; ability to work without close supervision
• Organised and goal-oriented
