About the Head of Analytics Role:

The Head of Analytics is responsible for providing analytical support necessary to derive business insights and data-driven products using internal and external data sources. You will work with the different stakeholders to provide information support for strategic business priorities and the underlying analytics framework, understand business/functional strategies, craft analytic/reporting solutions to support these strategies, presentation of solutions to business leads, and ongoing analytic/reporting support for business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute on Cards strategies and lead key initiatives to help card products
• Define, promote, and spearhead company-wide data analytics initiatives, methodologies, processes, and platform investment
• Promote data-informed decision-making throughout the company by partnering with different teams to set higher analytical standards
• Direct the development and delivery of ongoing standard reporting/decision support tools as requested by the supported business units
• Lead, coach and develop the Data Analytics team
• Perform data collection, cleansing, pre-processing, and required analysis of various types of data
• Gather information and document process and data flow diagrams
• Work simultaneously on a number of different projects of varying complexity and length
• Produce complex ad hoc analysis where required
• Proactive and reactive problem evaluation of opportunities to improve current processes/outcomes
• Collaborate effectively across geographies/time zones
• Perform other functions related, analogous, and pertinent to the preceding enumeration as may be assigned by superiors from time to time

To succeed in this Head of Analytics role, you must be able to serve as consultant, advisor and user-client account manager for any application and automation concerns.

Key Requirements:

• Deep passion for payments fintech and consumer products
• Graduate of mathematics/actuarial science/statistics/engineering or any related field.
• At least eight years of experience working in Data Analytics in product companies, including at least three years in a managerial function with a track record of building star teams and deliverables
• Strong knowledge of other data-related areas, including data science, data engineering, and software engineering
• Proficient in programming languages and tools such as SAS, Python, R, Power BI
• Experienced in statistical modelling and risk analytics
• Exposure in the lending business, credit management, and business development is a plus
