About the Business Intelligence Senior Analyst Role:
The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst entails working with extensive datasets and extracting valuable insights through analytical methods. This will require the integration and summarisation of information from various data sources to produce insightful analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create policies and guidelines to collect, validate and analyse data
• Formulate technical specifications according to functional needs, including metrics and management reporting. Design solutions and applications to address these functional requirements
• Maintain and repair existing management reporting/analytics applications
• Conduct basic debugging in test and production environments, and supervise the deployment of data to data-warehouse
• Collaborate with the operations and business teams to formulate metrics and management reporting strategies based on the gathered data

To succeed in this Business Intelligence Senior Analyst role, you must be able to identify possible enhancements in the required data or presentation methods, with the goal of maximising the value and insights that can be derived from the reports You should also have the skill to effectively communicate and convey findings, progress, outcomes, and potential risks to business leaders, emphasising key elements and identified risks.

Key Requirements:

• At least 10 years’ relevant experience in the field of operational excellence and business intelligence
• Managed projects encompassing analytics and reporting at both business and organisational levels
• Working knowledge of application QA and testing protocols
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Power BI, SQL, VBA
• Familiar in insurance, benefits, broking, financial, and consulting organisations and services
