Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join their IT Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end data solutions.

What you'll do:

As a Data Engineer, you'll be tasked with managing complex data storage solutions while ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions including data ingestion pipelines to acquire data from various source systems.
• Configure and manage data storage solutions to store structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Design, upgrade, and implement new data workflows, automation tools, and API integrations.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Provide support in UAT, user training, pre-implementation and post-implementation support activities.
• Monitor and optimise the performance of data pipelines and analytics applications.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer with a focus on data engineering and analytics.
