Senior Data Scientist

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their IT Data and Analytics department. This role will be instrumental in defining enterprise data and data architecture, producing data models, and supporting analytics across all applications

What you'll do:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the way our client leverages data. You will be responsible for building predictive models that solve complex business problems.

• Build predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning, deep learning, optimisation etc.
• Adapt Generative AI tools and large language models for specific business use cases.
• Develop frameworks for model performance metrics and business KPIs.
• Collaborate with business owners to generate meaningful features from existing or new data sources.
• Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to support AI use cases.
• Contribute to AI governance by building models and monitoring tools.

• Proven experience in deploying machine learning models into production environment.

• Experience in NLP or Generative AI tools is a strong advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for working in cross-functional teams.
