Function:

Operational Reporting is a global group function responsible for providing reporting and insights at all levels of the organisation, both internally to our operational teams and senior stakeholders, as well as externally across the Resource Solutions client base.

The structure of the function consists broadly of three core disciplines: Consulting & Business Partnering, Analytics and Insight and Data Management.

The OR function is primarily located across our Global Service Centres in Hyderabad, Johannesburg, Manchester and Manila, as well as our head office in London.

What you’ll be doing:

The APAC Business Partner in Operational Reporting will be working with the Global Operational Business Partner to ensure the delivery of Operational Reporting to our Clients and Operational Teams. Being the lead reporting contact for projects and implementations in the region.

Work with the GBPOR to transform the team into a high performing, innovative and positive function of the company.


Key Responsibilities


Project Support

  • Work as an SME in region to assist with the development and delivery of Team projects.
  • Promoting OneSource as best practice to key stakeholders to include account leads & clients.
  • Gather reporting requirements to ensure delivery to clients and stakeholders is right first time.
  • Maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.


BAU Reporting

  • Review & look for efficiencies within existing reporting.
  • Promote Trend analysis across the existing reporting.
  • Ensure changes are agreed between account, client & Head of Operational Reporting.
  • Be the SME and main escalations point in region.
  • Be aware and able to assist with the full end to end process of delivery, from Sales, Implementation, BAU and Exit.
  • Collaborate with the team lead to develop analytical capabilities of the team.
  • Ensure Global Best Practice conditions are met across the region in line with the global company ethos.


Data Quality

  • Responsible for identifying data issues and working with the MR and Operational Teams to highlight and monitor data quality.
  • Help create monitoring and ‘early warning’ reporting across the data flow process to help highlight data issues.
  • Other duties which are reasonably within the capabilities of a staff member in this position may need to be performed from time to time, in addition to or instead of the above duties. Please note, the requirements of this role may change over time and staff are required to comply with all such reasonable changes.


Skills and Experience:


Skills

  • Awareness of Microsoft’s business intelligence platform Power BI, including Power Query and Power Automate and how this operates in RS.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly excel.
  • Business Analytics – able to see trends within data to consult with key stakeholders.
  • A confident and professional attitude, and commanding and authoritative presence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Problem solving and organizational skills, having the ability to work to multiple deadlines and deliverables.
  • Well organised, with excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work with some autonomy.
  • A passion for analytics and data, demonstratable through staying up to date with the latest technology and trends in the field.
  • An excellent team player who is willing to contribute and work as a collaborative team.
  • Good attention to detail and placing a high value on data integrity, information governance and adherence to process.


Experience

  • Solid experience working in a Data/MI/Analytics Consulting role.
  • Understanding of the impact of technology on data and current methods of BI analytics.
  • Strong experience in the recruitment industry and insight of the data issues inherent within it.
  • Experience of working in a projects environment to understand the role you play in completion of the project.
  • Experience in Business Analytics (desirable)
