Senior Data Engineer (PL/SQL)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in BGC.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Data Engineer, your role will be pivotal in taking our client's testing process to the next level. You will liaise with other teams and areas of expertise such as developers, business analysts, peer testers etc.

• Actively engage in different stages of stories from Business Analysis to end of test cycles
• Perform various kinds of testing: System Test, Functional Test, Integration Test
• Define test strategies, plans and cases and implement improvements therein
• Responsible for the execution of the test and reporting on the quality and processes
• Assess and accept the delivered software while securing its quality

What you bring:

The ideal Senior Data Engineer candidate brings a wealth of technical skills to this role. Your experience with data comparison tools and excellent database engineering knowledge of Oracle is crucial to this role.

• Excellent knowledge and experience with different test methodologies, test design techniques, and test automation
• Excellent database engineering knowledge of Oracle required including PL/SQL packages and stored procedures, query writing and tuning, Oracle database setup
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps including setting up new pipelines in Azure DevOps and Ansible playbooks
• Good at scripting (Bash, Python, Shell)
• Basic Knowledge and experience with data warehousing, data models.
• ETL concepts and tools.
• Linux OS knowledge;
• Cloud experience (preferably Azure)
