Reporting Analyst

What you'll do:

As a Reporting Analyst, your primary focus will be on extracting, analysing, and interpreting data from various systems to generate comprehensive reports that provide valuable insights.

• Managing ad-hoc data extraction and transformation requests to support business needs for data visibility.
• Provision of visuals in Power BI to meet business reporting requirements.
• Utilising technologies including SQL, Azure and Data bricks to compile underlying data models to support reporting.
• Supporting the ingestion process and scheduling of source raw data tables into the data warehouse.
• Liaising with the business and SAP Data Architect to understand data requirements for extraction in preparation for reporting.
• Supporting the business with any general reporting issues, queries and management of enhancement requests.
• Maintaining and creating key documentation to support BI and the reporting catalogue.

What you bring:

The ideal Reporting Analyst candidate will bring a wealth of experience in working with Power BI and strong SQL skills. Your excellent communication skills enable you to present complex problems in a simple manner to a non-technical audience and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Proven experience working with Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation.
• Background in developing data cubes to support self-serve reporting.
• Experience working with SAP systems, specifically in reporting and data analysis.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Proven ability to document business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide clear, simple business user guides.
