What you'll do:

As a Data Engineer, your primary role will involve active collaboration with various business stakeholders. You will be tasked with understanding departmental needs and utilising your skills in data engineering to address these requirements.

• Work actively with various business stakeholders to understand departmental needs and use data to solve these needs.
• Perform data investigation and analysis.
• Design data modeling processes, predictive models, and create algorithms using data science techniques.
• Present results to stakeholders and adjust based on feedback.
• Implement and adhere to the client’s Responsible AI Framework throughout their work.
• Collect and analyze data to derive business insights.
• Transform data into suitable formats for analysis.
• Create new, enterprise frameworks to collect data.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Data Engineer position brings at least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Governance. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and have experience with data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.

• At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Governance.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect).
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
