Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in Taguig city. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage and participate in various stages of stories from Business Analysis to end of test cycles.

What you'll do:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's business. You will actively engage in various stages from Business Analysis to end of test cycles, performing different types of testing such as System Test, Functional Test, Integration Test.

• Actively engage and participate in different stages of stories from Business Analysis to end of test cycles.
• Perform System Test, Functional Test, Integration Test.
• Define test strategies, plans and cases while implementing improvements.
• Execute tests and report on quality and processes.
• Fulfil the QA role within the squad and chapter.
• Assess and accept the delivered software while securing its quality.
• Guard the quality of software delivered by the team.
• Drive the increase of automation of end-2-end chain tests.
• Take responsibility around quality of user stories of the backlog.
• Improve testing process.

What you bring:

As a Data Engineer, you bring excellent knowledge and experience with different test methodologies, design techniques, and automation. Your experience with data comparison tools coupled with your database engineering knowledge of Oracle will be invaluable in this role.

• Excellent knowledge and experience with different test methodologies, design techniques, and automation.
• Experience with data comparison tools.
• Database engineering knowledge of Oracle.
• Experience with PL/SQL packages and stored procedures.
• Proficiency with query writing and tuning.
• Knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Experience setting up new pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Experience with front end testing using Selenium.
• Experience with BDD (TDD), Cucumber, Rest Assured.
• Good at scripting (Bash, Python, Shell).
