What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards using Power BI as well as utilisation reports tailored for both internal teams and corporate clients, ensuring information is accessible and actionable.
• Provide medical insights and recommend interventions at both individual and organisational levels to address prevalent illnesses among members while mitigating associated risks.
• Analyse complex claims data to identify emerging trends, cost drivers, high-risk populations, patterns of fraud or waste, and opportunities for optimising care delivery that lead to improved patient outcomes.
• Translate intricate statistical findings into executive-friendly insights and practical recommendations that inform business strategy and operational improvements.
• Collaborate closely with medical, actuarial, and underwriting teams to support premium pricing strategies and benefit redesign initiatives based on robust data analysis.
• Validate data quality across multiple systems by implementing rigorous checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all reports generated.
• Present utilisation insights confidently during client renewal meetings or executive presentations, fostering trust through clear communication of value-added findings.
• Support the development of new analytical models or tools that enhance the organisation’s ability to manage costs effectively while delivering superior health benefits.
• Contribute proactively to projects aimed at enhancing data-driven decision-making processes throughout the organisation.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, Economics or a related field is required to ensure foundational knowledge in quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and statistical modelling tools enables you to deliver accurate reports efficiently.
• Experience working within health insurance, HMO, TPA or healthcare analytics environments is highly desirable for understanding industry-specific challenges.
• Proven ability to analyse health providers’ claims utilisation data equips you with the insight needed for effective risk mitigation.
• Advanced analytical thinking allows you to dissect complex problems and propose actionable solutions that align with organisational goals.
• Exceptional storytelling skills using data help translate technical results into impactful business recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with medical terminologies and ICD-10 coding ensures precise interpretation of clinical information within datasets.
