What you'll do:

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions by leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and other native cloud offerings.
• Develop comprehensive architecture frameworks and patterns that support the adoption of an Enterprise Data Platform and AI Platform for advanced analytics, reporting, and generative AI use cases.
• Drive integration and alignment of all data solutions by factoring in enterprise architecture guardrails into every aspect of solution design.
• Oversee the Master Data Management platform’s architecture by leading the design and optimisation of master data using Informatica MDM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate data lineage, governance processes, and quality controls into solution designs that enhance master data availability.
• Optimise ETL processes and data pipelines for maximum performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across all platforms.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting complex platform performance issues to maintain optimal system reliability.
• Partner with data platform owners, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure all data solutions are fully aligned with business goals and requirements.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new tools and approaches for both data and AI platforms within the organisation.
• Explore emerging technologies in data analytics and AI—including generative AI—and champion their adoption following established SDLC processes.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience designing scalable cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, or similar technologies.
• Proven ability to develop architecture frameworks supporting enterprise-wide adoption of advanced analytics platforms including AI-driven applications.
• Deep understanding of Master Data Management principles with hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM for optimising master data assets.
• Demonstrated skill in optimising ETL processes for performance improvements as well as cost efficiency across large-scale environments.
• Strong background in implementing DevOps practices—including automation techniques—for seamless deployment of data platforms via CI/CD pipelines.
• Strategic thinking skills enabling you to align technical strategies with organisational objectives while considering long-term impacts.
• Leadership qualities that foster collaboration among technical teams while nurturing talent through mentorship initiatives.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities allowing you to address complex platform challenges efficiently within multidisciplinary settings.
• Excellent communication skills for translating intricate technical concepts into clear messages tailored for non-technical audiences.
• Track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions to deliver integrated solutions meeting diverse business needs.
