What you'll do:

As a Tech Security Engineer (VAPT), your primary responsibility will be to fortify the organisation's security posture. You will conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments across various platforms including infrastructure, networks, and applications. Your expertise in black-box, white-box, and gray-box penetration testing will be crucial in uncovering potential security flaws. Additionally, you will participate in incident response activities by analysing vulnerabilities exploited in real-time attacks. Your ability to identify and prioritise security vulnerabilities based on risk impact will play a significant role in enhancing the organisation's cybersecurity measures.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments for infrastructure, network, and application environments.
• Perform black-box, white-box, and gray-box penetration testing to uncover security flaws.
• Assess wireless networks, APIs, databases, and IoT devices for security weaknesses.
• Participate in incident response activities by analysing vulnerabilities exploited in real-time attacks.
• Identify and prioritise security vulnerabilities based on risk impact and exploitability.
• Develop detailed assessment reports, outlining findings, risk ratings, and remediation plans.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Tech Security Engineer (VAPT) role brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in cybersecurity. With a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field under your belt along with relevant professional certifications such as CEH or OSCP among others. Your proven experience of over 5 years in a VAPT role or similar position will be invaluable. Your expertise in reverse engineering, exploitation, malware analysis, and threat emulation will be crucial to the role. Additionally, your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills coupled with strong communication and collaboration abilities will set you apart.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CEH (EC-Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP), Certified Mobile and Web Application Penetration Tester (CMWAPT), GIAC certification (e.g. GWAPT, GPEN) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a VAPT role or similar position.
• Experience in reverse engineering, exploitation, malware analysis, threat emulation, persistence techniques and lateral movement.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
