About the Database Administrator Lead Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the management, administration, engineering, and architecture of core database systems and infrastructure while providing leadership and guidance to a team of database administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure database availability, capacity, and performance management using tools such as Foglight, Splunk, etc.
• Establish partnerships with application teams to ensure high-quality products are developed and released into production
• Security, compliance, and risk management of the infrastructure and the teams’ operations
• Support and enable business continuity and disaster recovery capability of the infrastructure (server, storage, and virtualisation)
• Continuous improvement and innovation of infrastructure and operations

To succeed in this Database Administrator Lead role, you will need strong leadership skills and can act as a subject-matter expert regarding database management systems.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years' database administration experience
• Three years of experience in Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix OS
• Experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team
• Expertise in MS SQL, Informix, and Postgre
• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably IT or engineering)
