Business Analyst

This role is hands-on and outcome-driven the BA will own the analysis end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, ensuring that requirements are clear, technically feasible, and aligned with product goals. You’ll be expected to connect the dots between business needs, user experience, and technical delivery translating complex requirements into actionable user stories and process flows that help the team deliver value efficiently and accurately.

• Partner closely with the Product Owner to understand the product vision, goals, and priorities, translating them into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own the business analysis process end-to-end – from discovery and stakeholder workshops through to delivery support and testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA during sprints to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure accurate delivery.
• Create and maintain clear, visual artefacts — process maps, data flows, wireframes, and documentation that communicate both the big picture and technical details.
• Perform impact assessments on proposed changes across processes, systems, and people.
• Elicit and document requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, document analysis, and process reviews.
• Analyse current (“As-Is”) and target (“To-Be”) business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications suitable for development.
• Support backlog refinement, ensuring stories are prioritised, estimated, and ready for sprint planning.
• Partner with QA and Product to validate that delivered functionality meets requirements and user expectations
• Build trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, working with the Scrum team to resolve them.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the team by bringing best practices in agile analysis and delivery

Who you are:

• A hands-on Business Analyst with a strong understanding of both business and technical domains.
• Experienced in working within Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating daily with product and
• development teams.
• Skilled in writing clear, testable user stories and maintaining an organised backlog.
• Strong communicator who can simplify complexity, challenge assumptions, and build stakeholder confidence from developers to C-level executives.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, able to zoom out to the big picture while managing detailed requirements.
• Analytical and structured thinker with a focus on outcomes, not just outputs.
• Confident in process mapping and Solid knowledge in using Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence) and Lucidchart
• Competency with MS Office 365 suit of application (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)
• Technically literate — able to discuss APIs, data flows, and integrations with developers and understand system behaviours.
• Experienced in working on global or multi-country product initiatives.
• Organised, proactive, and able to own deliverables without heavy oversight.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital product or technology-led environments.
• Proven experience working in Agile product teams (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience delivering business process or system transformations across multiple markets.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations, data mapping, and system workflows.
• Strong documentation and visualization skills.
• Business analysis or process improvement certifications (e.g., CBAP, BCS, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
