Cloud Operations Engineer

A fast-growing insurance company is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer. In a span of five years, this insurance company has ranked first in customer experience in the Philippines. They are also present in Asian markets such as Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines. In this job, you will be maintaining the infrastructure and operations of the company.

About the Cloud Operations Engineer Role:
The Cloud Operations Engineer is going to work with different IT teams for the maintenance of the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the local and group technology teams and participate in planning, analysing, designing, and recommending cloud-related solutions
• Ensure daily resource monitoring, resource capacity assessment, performance analysis, tuning and recommend/implement long-term optimisation solutions, backup and regular validation and patch/fix management
• Establish and maintain working on, systems/network inventory and change logs, cloud infrastructure systems and network diagram (HL and Detailed) and localised policies and procedures
• Promote quality service by establishing and/or adhering to the organisation's technology standards, policies, and procedures, participating in incidents/performance analysis and recommendations for long-term solutions
• Provide automation solutions such as infra as a code or configuration scripting supporting DevOps pipelines

The successful Cloud Operations Engineer must participate in maintaining a shared technology strategy by collaborating with different IT teams, particularly with the local team to maintain and align with overall IT technology guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• At least three years of solid cloud experience (ACWS or Azure)
• CCNA or CCNT certifications is preferred but not required
