DevSecOps Engineer

About the DevSecOps Engineer Role:
The DevSecOps Engineer works with different IT teams to establish and maintain the process in building, deploying, testing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery processes using DevSecOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in setting up DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Sonarqube, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jira and Confluence, Nexus, Azure DevOps, and Veracode
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and in security
• Experience with Linux and Windows-based systems skills in a cloud and on-premises environments

To succeed in this DevSecOps Engineer role, you must know how to analyse, identify, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application development issues. Support and work with the development team to assist with migration, cutover, and rollback if needed.

Key Requirements:

• At least two years of experience with continuous integration, DevSecOps, or related experience
• At least two years of experience in several open-source technologies and have a broad knowledge of technology tools used by DevSecOps processes
• At least three years of working knowledge, middleware configuration, and automation service provisioning
• Proficiency with software development and configuration tools like Ansible/Terraform and Agile
• Project management experience in Jira and Confluence
