About the DevOps Engineer Role:
The DevOps Engineer role will work with a team of engineers to deliver infrastructure services to the IT consumers and to support the day-to-day activities of the bank to ensure timely deployment of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore and try different methods to improve the productivity and efficiency of the team
- Meet service levels for systems (availability, security, and performance)
- Influence the direction of the overall architecture
- Develop and maintain standards of software development, components, and release management
To succeed in this DevOps Engineer role, you must have demonstrated experience in delivering mission-critical systems and also in leading efficient and operational 24/7 large-scale systems support.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar discipline together with relevant work experience
- At least three years of experience in programming or scripting languages (C#, Bash, Perl, Shell, PHP)
- Must have experience in building CI/CD pipelines, hands-on experience with Jenkins/Docker, and designing and implementing public/private cloud (AWS / Azure)
- Experience working in an agile development life cycle
