Infrastructure Technical Lead

A financial services company is now recruiting for an Infrastructure Technical Lead job.

About the Infrastructure Technical Lead Role:
The Infrastructure Technical Lead will lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers tasked with delivering outstanding customer service and technical support in all software and infrastructure-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply your experience in ITIL, service level management, incident handling and resolution, problem management, change management, and service transition
• Apply your experience in systems automation, virtualisation, deployment, implementation, and systems design, architecture, and engineering
• Develop in-house automation and monitoring tools, and leverage open-source projects on the latest industry hardware

To succeed in this Infrastructure Technical Lead role, you must effectively work independently and lead the team to be involved in the infrastructure's design engineering and architecture.

Key Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields
• Must have at least 10 years of experience managing a 24x7 enterprise environment and a deep understanding of Linux Kernel (scheduling, networking, I/O, monitoring)
• Solid background in configuration management like puppet/salt, building RPMs, deploy updates
• Strong understanding of software engineering (design, testing, version control) and experience in two of the following languages: Python/C/++/Ruby
• Highly methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving and evaluating technologies.
