About the DevOps Engineer Role:
The DevOps Engineer works with a team of engineers to ensure delivering new digital asset securities exchange application that focuses on an institutional client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build accessible critical systems on the AWS cloud services
- Work with all levels of the business and operate the necessary whilst improving process and technical operations across the group
- Work with the technology team across different business operations
To succeed in this DevOps Engineer role, you must have actual exposure in building - docker/AWS/kubernete - and must have exposure to the software development life cycle.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with implementation of cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
- Experience using command line and Yaml manifests to deploy in AWS EKS clusters
- Experience with implementing ingress/egress and routing policies within AWS and EKS
- Linux administration, maintenance and optimisation
- Scripting experience (Bash, Groovy, Jenkinsfile, etc.)
- Experience with development (higher languages, strict data types, dynamic languages)
