About Linux Team Lead Role:
The Linux Team Lead is responsible for the management and administration, engineering and architecture of the Linux/Unix Core Systems Infrastructure, storage, and virtualisation Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in systems automation, virtualisation, deployment, implementation, systems design, architecture, and engineering
• Ensure systems availability, capacity, and performance management. This involves using infrastructure monitoring using tools (Splunk, SCOM, etc.)
• Establish and ensure partnership with Application teams to ensure a high-quality product is developed and released into production
• Stakeholder management, partnering with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality service to our customers
• Support and enable business continuity and disaster recovery capability of the infrastructure

To succeed in this Linux Team Lead role, you must effectively work with the security, compliance, and risk management of the infrastructure and the continuous improvement and innovation of infrastructure and operations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields
• At least five years of experience in Unix/Linux System Administrator or System Engineering experience
• ITIL experience, service level management, incident handling and resolution, up to problem management, change management and service transition
• Subject matter expert in Linux System Engineering and Administrator, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and familiarity with infrastructure monitoring using tools like Splunk and SCOM
