About the Senior Cloud Architect Role:
The focus of this role is to set the strategic and tactical direction for the cloud and hybrid infrastructure environment for this global financial services company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and review architecture and solution design artefacts
• Provide technical direction and lead a group of one or more architects addressing a common goal
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards and principles, globally followed product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Architect and design solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements
• Drive, plan and develop blueprints and deliverables that help customers in advancing their cloud capabilities, involving both new solutions and migration of existing solutions
• Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture

To succeed in this Senior Cloud Architect role, you should be a subject-matter expert in designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, including compute, network, storage, monitoring, and security.

Key Requirements:

• Five years of proven track record as a Cloud Architect – designing and implementing solutions in a wide scale organisation – must have experience handling a budget of 20,000 USD
• Experienced in running production workload using Docker and Kubernetes
• Preferably with experience in Azure Cloud platform but open to AWS platform as well
• Practical experience in GitOps
• Must have Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Architect Certifications
• Solid knowledge of IT Security, Network and DevOps
