About the AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role:
As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT department. In this role, you will play a crucial role in integrating and automating the work of software development and IT operations to improve and shorten the systems development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the up time of company’s servers

• Maintaining company’s digital infrastructure in multiple AWS regions

• Supporting application developers through providing infrastructure

• Developing a robust security architecture for the organisation's infrastructure and applications, ensuring comprehensive protection against potential threats

To be successful in this AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer job, you must have the ability to work effectively in an agile environment and work with global team members. You must also know how to anticipate the needs of the business and be able to communicate them well to concerned parties.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in troubleshooting cloud environments – finding and fixing critical production issues

• Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, especially using Amazon Web Services (Fargate, Route53, Cloudwatch, API gateway, AWS CodePipeline/CloudFormation, AWS databases, Networking, etc.)

• At least five years of production internet platform experience. CS or EE Degree or seven years of applicable experience

• Experience in shipping production software in a team. Solid understanding of systems engineering and networking

• Experience with the following technologies and platforms:
  

  • AWS Cloud product
  • Teraform HCL, Docker/CoreOS/Fargate
  • Linux
  • PHP and Node.js
