What you'll do:
As a Cloud Administrator with Networking Experience, you will play a pivotal role in managing our client's Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring the health, performance, security of Azure environments as well as compliance with security policies. You will also be tasked with performing regular backups, disaster recovery planning, business continuity management while optimizing cloud resource usage. Your collaborative skills will be put to good use as you work closely with development and operations teams to support application deployment on Azure. Additionally, your problem-solving abilities will be crucial in troubleshooting issues related to Azure services.
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and other services.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Azure environments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices in Azure environments.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity management.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and costs by implementing best practices for scaling, monitoring, and resource allocation.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Cloud Administrator role brings a wealth of experience in cloud administration focusing on Microsoft Azure. With a strong educational background in Information Technology or Computer Science, you have developed a deep understanding of Azure services. Your experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, ARM templates and PowerShell scripting will be invaluable in this role. You are familiar with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English, will enable you to effectively collaborate with various teams. If you hold Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar, it would be highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud administration focusing on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services including virtual machines, storage, networking databases and security.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps ARM templates and PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English.
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar are highly desirable.
