What you'll do:
As a Platform Engineer, your role will be integral to our client's commitment to data-driven decision making. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining key observability systems that underpin their analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Your expertise will drive data architecture decisions, optimize system performance, and contribute significantly to the success of data-driven projects. Collaborating closely with other engineers, analysts, architects, and stakeholders, you will ensure the seamless flow and accessibility of high-quality data across the organization.
- Design, build, and maintain key observability systems to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives
- Collaborate with Analysts, Engineers, Architects and stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of data
- Drive data architecture decisions and optimize system performance
- Provide primary monitoring support for multiple large-scale distributed software applications
- Implement SRE standards and define SLOs
- Understand custom observability requirements and provide solutions using available monitoring tools
- Gather and analyze metrics from applications
- Coordinate with different development teams to improve monitoring metrics
- Automate Monitoring tools
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Platform Engineer position, you bring a wealth of experience in platform engineering or a similar role. Your proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java is complemented by your familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. You have good knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Loki, Tempo and Prometheus. Your understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles coupled with your strong analytical mindset sets you apart.

- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles with strong analytical mindset
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in CI / CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible
- Experience with issue trackers like ServiceNow or Azure Boards
