What you'll do:

As a GCP Cloud Architect, your role will be pivotal in designing solutions for projects based on customer feedback and consulting capability. You will manage the Google Cloud Platform and Google Maps API console, creating instances of App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine. Your expertise will ensure that designs function as intended and at minimal cost. You will also take charge of deployment activities ensuring servers run 24x7. Working closely with the sales team, you will provide pre-sales cloud support from lead qualification to GCP-based geospatial solutions.

• Design solutions for projects based on customer feedback and consulting capability
• Manage the Google Cloud Platform and Google Maps API console
• Create instances of App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine and manage server access
• Ensure designs function as intended and at minimal cost
• Guarantee stipulated SLO, SLI and SLA
• Take charge of deployment activities ensuring servers run 24x7
• Provide facetime to customers understanding their architectural needs
• Work with sales team in provisioning pre-sales cloud support
• Identify potential issues between client systems and specifications proposing new solutions where possible

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the GCP Cloud Architect position holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. With at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator or in a similar role, you have extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to understand customer's architectural needs effectively. Additionally, you possess knowledge of security guidelines, policies, and frameworks for cloud location intelligence solutions.
