Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable DevOps Chapter Lead to join their team in Makati. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on building an in-house back-office system used globally within the financial markets sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT, with particular expertise in SQL and Linux, and will be comfortable working in an agile environment. Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python would be advantageous, as would previous leadership experience.

• Opportunity to lead a growing team of up to 8 staff by year-end.
• 30% of your time dedicated to team management, with the remaining 70% focused on the DevOps Engineer role.
• Work on a globally-used, in-house back-office system within the financial markets sector.

What you'll do:

As a DevOps Chapter Lead, you will play a crucial role in both team management and technical development. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse and design new solutions and functionality within an agile team. You will ensure that software is rolled out efficiently to our internal clients. In addition, you will be tasked with resolving any daily disturbances within the production area. As part of your leadership duties, you will manage your chapter hierarchically, guiding the growth of their capabilities and skills. Your role will also involve close collaboration with trading locations across the globe.
