DevOps Engineer (Java & Springboot)

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating the release and deployment of software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure smooth releases, and automate release processes.

• Proven experience developing applications using Java with frameworks such as Spring or SpringBoot in enterprise environments.

• Solid background working with Oracle Databases including PL/SQL scripting as well as schema migration tools like Flyway or Liquibase.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Yaml Pipelines or similar continuous integration tooling.
• Experience implementing test automation strategies across different levels of the testing pyramid for robust software validation.
• Understanding of IT Security Foundations with an ability to apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms along with microservice architectures and cloud native design principles.
• Competence deploying containerised applications using Docker as well as orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Foundations for managing application environments securely.
• Ability to create clear architecture documentation using UML or PlantUML while communicating technical concepts effectively.
