About the SAP Test Engineer (Automation) Role:
In this role, you will deliver robust and efficient test engineering practice as directed by business constraints while respecting controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing on the application, monitor the E2E data flow
- Automate functional and user testing while meeting quality criteria and project constraints
- Automate using both GUIs and APIs as provided by the applications
- Automate application configurations using DB scripts and any other scripting tools
- Automate using various tools like UFT (for thick clients), selenium, etc.
To succeed in the SAP Test Engineer (Automation) role, you must be a proficient tester. You must have proven experience with tests on SAP and be interested in the banking business. You must have tested complex end-to-end flows and are able to monitor the data flow in different environments.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated deep and applied knowledge of the following (three or more years)
- Proficient in JAVA
- Experience in SAP PI
- Test automation using and performing any of the following: UFT, web test automation, selenium and WebDriver, load and performance testing, chaos testing/engineering
- Operating systems: SAP, SAP process integration
- Experience working in an agile development life cycle
- Demonstrated experience in delivering test automation for mission critical systems
