Software Test Engineer

About the Software Test Engineer Role:
In this role, you will work with the development team to create a suite of automation tests to focusing on interactions between microservices, end-to-end testing, and post roll verification. You will be responsible for providing recommendations on design and implementing the automation solutions for new development and the backlog of existing tech debt for the team's products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in project planning meetings, design, and implement automated testing according to business needs
• Continuously optimise testing infrastructure, to make it stable and scalable
• Cooperate with the development team for issue reporting and tracking
• Assist with reproducing and investigating production issues
• Identify possible improvement points for the entire team process
• Perform code reviews of the team members’ work

To succeed in the Software Test Engineer job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Five or more years of software testing experience in automation
• Deep understanding of web application architectures, especially for back-end API testing
• Deep understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), especially working in an agile team
• Hands-on experience with API automation tools like Postman, SoapUI or other API libraries
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git, GitLab
• Experience in programming languages like Java or Python (required: Java)
