A Senior Java Developer job opportunity has become available, responsible for the delivery of applications assets based on technical and/or functional specifications.
About the Senior Java Developer Role:
As the Senior Java Developer, you are expected to provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation and support, being his/her primary focus during the design and development phases of projects and on user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the overall frontend/backend architecture
- Ensure “pixel-perfect” implementation of the approved user interface
- Design and deploy the database
- Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Design and construct REST API, and/or web services
- Integrate the frontend UI with the constructed API
- Design and implement continuous integration and deployment
- Provide technical expertise, troubleshoots, guides and supports during design, development, testing, production, and post-production
To succeed as the Senior Java Developer, you should have excellent technical knowledge in analysing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Work experience and bachelor’s degree in an information technology field or computer science or related field
- Technically strong in API concept, design, and development
- At least five to eight years' experience developing medium to large complex integration solutions using Java
- Five or more years of experience with both hands-on and lead experience in developing applications
- Basic technical experience and business knowledge in various SDLC methodologies including waterfall, iterative, agile software development life cycle or related disciplines/processes is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing to document data requirements and translate into technical solutions
