About the Java Developer Role:
As the Java Developer, you will be involved in the planning, development, and maintenance of the web applications supporting the products and services in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage within the development team, share ideas and assist the team where practical, participate in code reviews and the underlying environment to understand and minimise negative impact on system performance
• Participate in researching new technologies then applying it to the final product
• Prepare reports and analysis regarding issues, incident in progress, opposing ideas and appropriate recommendations or conclusions
• Collaborate and support team members to maximise efficiency and complete the work needed

To succeed as the Java Developer, you must be open-minded in learning new programming languages, new technologies, and be ready to cope with technological challenges to solve the work effectively.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of five years' experience in using Java as the main programming language
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Java/j2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, REST API, Git, JMS
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in microservices architecture and Java generics
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in spring framework and spring boot
