About the Test Automation Engineer Lead Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for delivering DevOps and testing automation related software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the bank’s software delivery and quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity
• Understand bank’s risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered
• Work collaboratively with a team of diverse engineers in sprint delivery
• Understand the bank’s DevOps strategy and implementing automation solutions to improve the bank’s software delivery pipeline.

To succeed in the Test Automation Engineer Lead job, you will need to have broad engagement with application delivery teams across the bank, helping them adopt DevOps pipeline solutions to improve delivery efficiency and maturity.

Key Requirements:

• Overall 12 plus years of experience working as a Tester, Developer/Automation Test Lead
• Extensive experience implementing automated testing solutions with frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium/Appium and WireMock
• Hands-on experience in Java. Proficient in additional languages such as .NET, JavaScript, C/C++, Python
• Ability to design and implement efficient, maintainable, elegant code. Clean code practitioner will be a strong plus
• Experience with Test Management tooling such as Azure DevOps Test Plan is highly desirable
• Experience in DevOps with exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Ansible is desirable
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS EC2 as well as container platform such as Docker and Kubernetes is desirable
