About the Senior QA Automation Java Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Springboot and Java.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Springboot, Java 11+, Gradle, Swagger, Postman, Junit 5, Rest Assured, Gatling, and Hoverfly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain API contract designs
• Contribute to the creation of user stories and ensure alignment with stakeholder requirements
• Apply Agile/SAFe concepts to drive efficient testing processes
• Containerise applications and utilize Docker for testing environments
• Conduct testing for Rest APIs, API Security, Service Discovery, Distributed tracing, and Cloud Concepts
• Implement and execute tests in an Agile/SAFe environment
• Drive automation initiatives and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Test Microservices architecture and applications

To succeed in this Senior QA Automation Java job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Spring boot, Java 11+, Gradle, Swagger, Postman, Junit 5, Rest Assured, Gatling, and Hoverfly
• Experience with API Contract design and maintenance
• Proficiency in containerisation, Rest APIs, API Security, Service Discovery, Distributed tracing, Cloud Concepts, and Microservices
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Knowledge of DB2, JIRA, and Confluence is advantageous
• Openness to the idea of Pairing and a demonstrated sense of ownership
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
