In this business critical role you will be responsible for the resource and capability planning to match the demand on the short and long-term projects. You will also take the lead providing direction to all development projects and allocating staff to each team or squad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure resource allocations of the area across the organisation to get commitments done
• Create high-performing teams (autonomous teams) by building and cross-training the skillset of the people
• Design, build and enhance Java web applications
• Drive delivery of projects

To succeed in the Development Lead job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• More than 10 years of IT experience
• More than five years of experience leading a team and driving projects
• Exposure to multiple, diverse infrastructure, application and information technologies and processing environments
• Knows general IT risk controls (access controls, change controls, physical security)
• Understands systems development processes, SDLC and coding
• Experience with incident management processes
• Migrating functionality from legacy applications to modern Java web architecture
