The Java Developer should possess a strong technical passion, a solution-focused mindset, and be able to contribute to the design, development, test automation, product support, IT risk compliance, technical upgrades, and hardening of internally developed platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with modern architectures such as microservices and integrations
• Have good experience with Agile, Software development, DevOps, Project Management, or other approaches to software delivery
• Have experience with designing, building and enhancing Java web applications
• Have a background in migrating functionality from legacy applications to modern Java web architecture
• Exposed to different integration tools like JMS, MQ, Kafka, File Transfer, or S3
• Utilised test frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, or PACT

To excel in this Java Developer role, you must have a solid engineering background. Moreover, you should be well-versed in (commodity) programming languages.

Key Requirements:

• Seven or more years of IT experience
• Exposure to multiple, diverse infrastructures, application, and information technologies, and processing environments
• Knows general IT risk controls
• Understands systems development processes, SDLC, and coding
• Experience with incident management processes
