Enterprise Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Enterprise Architect to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and business services in the banking and financial services industry.

What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining the technological direction of the organisation.

• Define and enforce enterprise governance guidelines including: business and IT capabilities, reference architecture, roadmaps, non-functional requirements, principles, standards, and patterns.
• Provide various architecture services throughout the solutions development lifecycle (SDLC) including: architecture fit assessments, vendor sourcing, solutions architecture and design review and approval.
• Specialise in channel applications and platforms, cloud technologies including: omnichannel platforms, web and mobile applications, online banking, corporate websites.
• Work with a diverse range of technologies and business services in the banking and financial services industry.
• Present and communicate effectively to business and IT stakeholders.
• Have a solid understanding of consumer credit card products and services.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Enterprise Architect position brings a wealth of IT experience to the table.

• Minimum 12 years of IT experience
• At least 2 years’ experience on retail banking
• Strong technical expertise in enterprise architecture methodologies and design patterns.
• Experience with modern technology stacks and cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively to business and IT stakeholders.
