Senior Automation Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team in Mandaluyong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and drive quality assurance processes within the organisation.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Your primary responsibility will be to create tests to identify any potential issues with the software before it is launched.

• Create tests to identify any issues with software before product launch
• Identify and analyse bugs found during testing and document them
• Pay close attention to detail and coach team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement
• Focus on quality improvement and assure suitable practice for software development
• Conduct black box or white box testing and constant monitoring
• Include risk management with quality affirmation, minimise cost of maintenance, formulate requirements, report test results and project status

What you bring:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you bring a wealth of technical expertise to the table.

• Technical background with at least 5 years of experience in IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud engineering, or software architecture design
• Experience with Appium for automating mobile web apps
• Proficiency in Web Application Automation using Selenium
• Familiarity with IDEIDE = vscode, Language = Python, Automation Framework = Selenium (python), Driver = Selenium Web Driver, BDD
• Experience with API Testing = Postman, Newman, pytest
