Our client is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative team. Your expertise in automation, both GUI and API's, will be crucial in driving the quality and efficiency of the team's output
What you'll do:
As a Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver robust and efficient test engineering practices. You will automate functional and user testing, utilising both GUI and API's provided by applications.
- Automate Functional and User testing within project constraints
- Utilise various tools for automation such as Selenium
- Define test cases for automation using test engineering techniques
- Explore methods to improve productivity and efficiency of the team
- Develop and maintain standards of software & system test automation
- Identify and reduce technical debt
- Promote 'Best Practices' within the team
- Provide out of hours support as required
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Test Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in software testing. With at least 5 years under your belt, you have honed your skills in functional testing, designing test plans and strategies, writing test cases, executing test cases, and understanding the Bug Life cycle.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in software testing
- Excellent knowledge in testing skills including functional testing, designing test plans and strategies, writing test cases, executing test cases, understanding Bug Life cycle
- Good level in SQL/database
- Excellent Java programming and debugging skills
- Knowledge of Oracle, Linux, Jenkins, GIT, REST
- Experience in designing and developing Test automation frameworks
- Experience with E2E testing
