What you'll do:
As a Frontend Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing a new application that is set to revolutionise our client's operations. You will be involved from conception to completion, ensuring that the web application adheres to the latest standards and provides robust capabilities.
- Lead the delivery of coding while meeting quality criteria and project constraints.
- Explore and try different methods to improve productivity of the team.
- Ensure alignment to Architect roadmaps and strategies.
- Meet service levels for systems (availability, security, and performance).
- Influence the direction of the overall architecture.
- Develop and maintain standards of software development and components where applicable.
- Mentor & coach other developers in their learning & development.
- Take ownership of all assigned tasks.
- Be proactive in promoting ‘Best Practices’.
- Be available for out of hours support as required.

- Passionate about front-end technologies and continuously stay informed about new trends and developments.
- Advocate for Test Driven Development and write robust unit tests and integration tests to ensure high code coverage.
- Strong expertise in front-end development, particularly with Web Components (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, LitElement/LitHTML- must-have, ShadowDOM/NPM/Yarn - nice-to-have).
- Hands-on experience designing and building user interfaces with an emphasis on performance, usability, and responsiveness.
- Working knowledge of version control systems (Git), build tools (Maven), and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with back-end integration and REST-JSON APIs to ensure seamless interaction between front-end and back-end services.
- Understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
- Experience with browser-based testing tools and front-end performance testing to ensure optimized user experiences.
