Purpose of the Job:

To extend our growing development team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining
the internally deployed integration across multiple applications and databases.

• Other duties which are reasonably within the capabilities of a staff member in this position may need to be performed from time to time, in addition to or instead of the above duties.
• The requirements of this role may change over time and staff are required to comply with all such reasonable changes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop API-based software solutions
• Document work to an appropriate level (peer level)
• Participate in various meetings

Core Skills:

• At least 5 years of development experience
• Java 11 or higher
• SpringBoot Framework
• RESTful Principles (Consumption and Implementation of RESTful Services)
• Event-driven Architecture
• Microservice Architecture
• Maven
• Asynchronous Programming (beneficial skill)
• Snowflake (beneficial skill)
• Auth2 Framework (beneficial skill)
• Python (beneficial skill)
• Powershell (beneficial skill)

Knowledge & Skills:

Platforms and Systems Skills:

• Git
• Jira
• Scrum
• Azure / AWS (especially S3, DynamoDB, ECR, CloudWatch, SQS, and SNS)
• Containerization (ideally Docker)
• CI/CD (ideally CircleCI)
• Knowledgeable in Linux Environments
• Kubernetes (beneficial skill)
• Azure (beneficial)

Competencies:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and work with speed and accuracy
• Organized, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changes within a fast-paced working environment
