Lead Software Engineer

Our client is looking for a Lead Software Engineer that has an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse team of engineers, working collaboratively in sprint delivery.

What you'll do:

Your role will be pivotal in implementing automation solutions that align with the bank's DevOps strategy.

• Understand the bank’s DevOps strategy and implement automation solutions.
• Engage with application delivery teams across the bank, helping them adopt DevOps pipeline solutions.
• Understand the bank’s software delivery processes and implement compliant solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and prepare training materials on delivered solutions.
• Conduct briefing and/or training sessions to help teams get onboarded.
• Embed the bank’s risk management framework into the technology solution being delivered.
• Assist in solutioning in respective governance activity.

What you bring:

• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer/ Developer creating UI/UX frameworks.
• Experience in front-end development and design-led development of user-centered products.
• Experience in implementing UI/UX components for re-use in an SDK provided to other developers.
• Working knowledge with API development standards.
• Experience with automated testing solutions such as Cucumber, Selenium, Appium.
• Proficiency in programming languages and libraries (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Typescript, Web components, Lit, Jest, ES module).
• Familiarity with open-source frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with Unix and Windows host operating systems, scripting (Bash/Shell or PowerShell) & networking (preferred).
