Solutions Architect (Java and API)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect with a strong background in engineering management, system and/or enterprise architecture, programming, and software design.

What you'll do:

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of the organisation.

• Define and maintain development practices and standards
• Work with various stakeholders to review, evaluate, and document current business and data models
• Develop and plan training programs for building high-performance distributed services
• Evaluate tools and technologies for cost reduction, productivity improvement, performance enhancement, and overall product quality
• Design and implement scalable, resilient system architectures in collaboration with engineering leads
• Craft quality technical solutions in collaboration with team members
• Define the architectural blueprint of the organisation in collaboration with enterprise architects

What you bring:

• Minimum 8 years of combined experience in engineering management, system or enterprise architecture, programming, and software design
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable, high performance distributed systems (REST/microservices/Java/Spring)
• Proficiency in DevOps: continuous integration, automated testing, cloud deployments etc.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS
• Experience with data modelling and architecture; developing and implementing an enterprise-wide agile framework is a plus
