• At least 4 years of experience in backend development complemented by strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as React.
• Expertise in Python programming language along with frameworks like Flask or FastAPI for building scalable backend services.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases (including ORM technologies like SQLAlchemy) as well as GraphQL servers built on Python.
• Hands-on experience managing forms within React applications coupled with familiarity in state management patterns.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks for both frontend (e.g., Jest) and backend (e.g., Pytest), plus deployment strategies including CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency using Mac or Linux development environments alongside related tools for efficient workflow management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective documentation, technical discussions, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Ability to synchronously collaborate during core hours (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM US Eastern Time) while respecting work-life balance policies.
• Experience working with build systems or module bundlers such as Webpack or Parcel for optimised asset delivery.
• Familiarity with UI component libraries (such as Mantine), data visualisation techniques, accessibility standards, security best practices (ISO 27001/SOC 2/NIST/HIPAA), budget management systems, multi-app workspaces or monorepos, open-source contributions, first principles thinking regarding computer internals/tools/workflows.
