What you'll do:

As a Salesforce Developer based in Makati, you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative solutions that enhance business operations across global trade systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable configurations, customisations, integrations, and optimisations on the Salesforce platform. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement by proposing enhancements aligned with organisational goals while ensuring all developments meet rigorous security standards. Your expertise will be crucial during testing phases as you support deployments across various environments. Additionally, you will manage complex data migrations and integrations with external systems—ensuring accurate data modelling and secure access controls. By actively participating in Agile ceremonies and knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues from around the world, you will help shape the future of digital transformation within the organisation.

• Configure, customise, and build new or enhanced functionality on the Salesforce platform using both declarative (point-and-click) and programmatic (code) solutions tailored to complex business requirements.
• Develop and maintain custom objects, workflows, validations, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and API integrations to ensure robust system performance and scalability.
• Implement solutions that adhere strictly to Salesforce platform standards, security guidelines, and coding best practices for optimal reliability.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to foster effective teamwork and project delivery.
• Lead and contribute to design reviews, code walkthroughs, demos, and user acceptance sessions to guarantee high-quality deliverables aligned with user needs.
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce Admins, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other Developers to ensure complete alignment in delivering user stories and technical tasks.
• Promote adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies by supporting user story documentation and team-defined architecture standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in system integration testing to validate new features before deployment across multiple environments including development, QA, staging, and production.
• Perform root cause analysis and defect resolution for incidents related to Salesforce features while assisting in platform maintenance activities such as performance monitoring, upgrades, and system health checks.
• Develop and manage Salesforce API integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP services while overseeing complex data migrations using DataLoader and advanced SOQL queries.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related technical field is required for this role.
• At least five years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform using both declarative tools like Lightning App Builder as well as programmatic approaches including Aura Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Proven track record managing Salesforce Administration tasks such as platform maintenance alongside expertise in API development for seamless external system integrations.
• Demonstrated ability in handling complex data migration processes using DataLoader combined with proficiency in writing efficient SOQL queries for optimised data management.
• Solid understanding of standard Sales/Service Cloud features including CPQ (Configure Price Quote) modules plus Case Management functionalities within Salesforce environments.
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks for front-end customisation within Salesforce applications is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Scrum/Agile product development methodologies with active participation in sprints or similar collaborative processes is essential.
• Practical experience developing web services using REST API or SOAP protocols for robust system connectivity is expected.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder Certification; Platform Developer I/II Certification; Certified Platform Administrator are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Gearset/Copado/Salesforce DX/GitHub) for CI/CD practices plus understanding of Salesforce Shield encryption best practices would be beneficial.
