IT Audit Manager

About the IT Audit Manager (Data Analytics) Role:
This is a great opportunity as you will specialise in data analytics, continuous auditing, agile audit and robotic process automation. You will also get involved in series of internal audit testing and engagements to help achieve 100% completion rate of 2022 audit plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business and IT auditors to gather analytics requirement, identification of potential risk area and potential tangible/intangible ROI, e.g. fraud avoidance, improved resource efficiency, revenue reassurance and/or potential revenue optimisation
• Generate first level exceptions based on agreed initial rule set by business and the IT Auditor
• Keep abreast of new changes or revisions of business rules and applies into analytics library, e.g. maintenance of analytics scripts, versioning control
• Ensure analytics work complies with acceptable audit standards within stipulated time frame
• May occasionally play a team leader role for audits, requiring you to manage all aspects of audit assignments, including providing supervision, guidance and on-the-job training to junior audit staff

To succeed in this IT Audit Manager role, you must possess four to five years of experience in internal/external audit preferably within the banking and financial technology/fintech sector.

Key Requirements:

• CIA, CPA, CISA and/or any other professional qualifications of a recognised accounting or internal auditing body
• Relevant experience in front line operations, AML/CFT audit, onboarding, finance, risk management or compliance functions within the sector may also be considered for the role
• Experience with relevant data analytical tools, e.g. ACL, SQL, SAS, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in particular in relation to data analysis, business processes, IT control or compliance matters
• Knowledge of COSO internal control framework and other relevant internal audit methodologies
