An exciting IT Security Operations Head job has opened up at a multinational company in the Philippines.

About the IT Security Operations Head Role:
This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the cyber and information security systems to ensure that information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and operational processes are adequately protected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the CISO's representative in their absence and making decisions on behalf of the CISO (Deputy CISO level)
• Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive cyber and information security programmes to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy, and recovery of information assets owned, controlled or/and processed by the organisation
• Build, manage, and lead the information security structure and manages a team of cybersecurity professionals, including hiring, training, and mentoring
• Realise cyber and information security risks, and the creation of the cyber and information security roadmap
• Contribute to the alignment of security governance with EA governance and project and portfolio management
• Evaluate and develop secure solutions, based on approved security architectures
• Analyse business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks
• Use mitigation, preparedness and response and recovery approaches as needed to maximise survival, preservation of property and information security
• Focus on network security, cloud security, application security, and incident management
• Build and nurture external networks consisting of industry peers, ecosystem partners, vendors and other relevant parties to address common trends, findings, incidents and cybersecurity risks

To succeed in this IT Security Operations Head role, you should be a subject-matter expert in initiating multiple projects on security risk assessment, IT audit, network design and implementation, data privacy assessment, and IT solutions deployment.

Key Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years of solid experience in security operations role with a solid leadership experience
• Well versed in current published attacks and exploitation methodologies
• Well experienced in IT infrastructure design and implementation
• Deliver security consultancy to multiple clients/partners and is highly knowledgeable of security best practices
• Understanding of ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, COBIT and NIST frameworks
• Attained professional certifications in information security management, systems and network auditing, vulnerability assessment/penetration testing, and IT service delivery
• Required (Any of the following): CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional or CISM: Certified Information Security Manager; Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
• Highly preferred certifications: CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker, SABSA Chartered Security Architecture - Practitioner Certificate (SCP), CISSP-ISSAP: Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, GSEC/GCIH/GCIA: GIAC Security Certifications
