Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable IT Auditor to join their team. This role contributes significantly to the internal audit function, with a focus on IT systems including networks, databases, systems, applications and other IT components. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and laws. They will also evaluate and recommend improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures. - Work closely with Internal Audit - Finance to provide an integrated understanding of how IT risks impact financial and operational processes.
What you'll do:
As an IT Auditor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our client's IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of various IT processes and technologies. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you identify potential risks and recommend improvements. You will work closely with internal customers to ensure that audit recommendations are implemented in a timely manner. Your ability to draft detailed audit reports and prepare supporting documentation will be essential in this role. Furthermore, you will track project activities and provide regular status updates on audit initiatives. Your collaborative nature will shine as you work effectively with internal audit team members, business leaders, stakeholders, controls and compliance teams.
- Assist with the execution of audits of IT processes and technologies.
- Evaluate information technology risks to the organisation and perform tests of controls to assess the adequacy of the control environment.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.

- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years' experience in a related field such as audit, information technology, finance and accounting, security, data analytics/governance or business operations.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems design and architecture.

- Ability to define audit testing plans, execute and document internal controls testing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to clearly document IT systems design and architecture, IT operational processes and related audit findings.
