What you'll do:

As an IT Audit Executive based in Makati, you will be entrusted with managing comprehensive IT audit engagements that safeguard financial integrity across global operations. Your daily responsibilities will involve evaluating complex control frameworks, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners on special projects. You will be instrumental in supporting SOX testing for major entities listed on the NYSE, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a genuine passion for working within a collaborative environment where your contributions directly influence organisational resilience.   • Manage the day-to-day execution of IT audit engagements, ensuring all activities are completed efficiently and in accordance with established standards.
  • Evaluate and test IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls (ITACs), and security frameworks that underpin critical business functions across multiple entities.
  • Collaborate closely with managers and partners on ad hoc tasks as well as special projects, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Assess the organisation’s information technology infrastructure, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal control standards.
  • Identify vulnerabilities within IT environments, evaluate existing controls, and recommend improvements to mitigate risks while enhancing system performance.
  • Support the IT audit manager in conducting SOX testing for two publicly listed entities on the New York Stock Exchange since 2024.
  • Prepare detailed audit documentation and reports that clearly communicate findings, risks, and suggested actions to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IT audits, including changes in SOX legislation or best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and implementation of audit recommendations.
